Arn grew up in the Los Altos/Mt View area during a time when Libby Can Food company was the largest employer in Santa Clara County. Arn attended Carmel Elementary and Blach Junior High School. Arn moved to San Francisco for a year before moving to Queens, New York where he attended Forest Hills High. Arn then went to Colgate University and then the University of Michigan for graduate school. After completion of graduate school, Arn returned to Palo Alto and joined Cenedella & Co. Real Estate, Menlo Park in 1978. After 15 years in the family business, Arn joined Cornish and Carey which was purchased by Coldwell Banker. Arn purchased his first home in East Palo Alto in 1980. Arn moved to San Carlos in 1986 and has lived in San Carlos with his two sons, ages 17 and 21, for over 20 years. Although real estate can be time consuming, Arn finds time to have been a coach for both of his sons soccer and baseball teams and was San Carlos Little League tournament director for 9 years. If there is any time left over, you just might find Arn on the golf course or on the ski slopes. Arn is an avid reader and also a student of the Enneagram.
